Services have been announced for fallen Knoxville Police Department Officer Wisbens Antoine.

The receiving of friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 1 at the Mynatt Funeral Home located at 2000 Powell Drive. Members of the public are invited to attend the receiving of friends to pay their respects. At the request of the family, media coverage will not be permitted at the receiving of friends.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at First Apostolic Church of Knoxville on Pleasant Ridge Road, which will be followed by a burial at Lynnhurst Cemetery with full honors provided by the KPD.

Media coverage will not be permitted at the service or interment, per the request of the family. The service will be live streamed on the First Apostolic Church YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/facknoxville.

KPD officers will lead a procession following the service from First Apostolic Church to Lynnhurst Cemetery. The procession will travel north on Pleasant Ridge Road and turn east on to Merchant Drive. The procession will continue on Merchant until it turns into Cedar Lane, turn south on Inskip Road and back east on Adair Drive before turning into Lynnhurst Cemetery.  

Members of the public are invited to line the road and pay their respects as the procession passes.
