Mobile Field Force

Officers from all across the Knoxville Police Department make up the Mobile Field Force team. Those officers assigned to the MFF team provide expertise in multiple facets of emergency response, including large crowd control, officer safety, de-escalation and passive compliance measures. 

The team is deployed for a variety of events and assignments ranging from protests and potentially controversially speakers, and providing supplemental security for special events. 

MFF’s focus is the preservation of public safety while protecting the rights of all persons to express their views.
