The Planning and Grants office manages approximately $7 million at any given time in state and federal grants, while continuously seeking new grant opportunities. Identifying funding for programs that will support policing efforts in the communities we serve is a sustained priority.

Grants procured have provided funding to support a multitude of programs and initiatives across the department, including specialized law enforcement training and equipment, traffic safety and enforcement, driver and passenger safety programs, Internet Crimes Against Children investigations, crime victim support and advocacy, Project Safe Neighborhoods and the Drug Related Death Task Force.
