UPDATE (February 20, 2025, 1:45 p.m.): Tyzeek Wallace, wanted for Wednesday’s murder of 21-year-old Christopher Taylor at the Pinnacle Park Apartments, has turned himself in and is now in custody.

Tyzeek Wallace, 19, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to a deadly shooting that happened on Wednesday afternoon at the Pinnacle Park Apartment complex.
At around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a parking lot of the Pinnacle Park Apartments on Hall of Fame Drive on a report of a shooting with a victim. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located a man who had been shot. The victim, identified as 21-year-old Christopher Taylor, was transported to the UT Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Responding officers and detectives were able to determine that the suspect vehicle was an Infiniti sedan registered to Wallace. Through continued investigation, it was determined that Wallace shot Taylor for reasons that remain under investigation before leaving the scene. Detectives have since obtained a warrant charging Wallace with second-degree murder.
Efforts remain ongoing to locate Wallace, who is pictured. He is believed to be driving the pictured Infiniti.
