With the Christmas season approaching, the Knoxville Police Department’s Investigation Bureau is once again partnering with the Knoxville Toys for Tots to help collect toys for less fortunate children in our community.
For that, the Knoxville Public Safety Complex will serve as an official drop-off site for any area residents who would like to support Toys for Tots and contribute to KPD’s toy drive.
Now through Thursday, December 4, an official Toys for Tots donation box can be found in the lobby of the Public Safety Complex, located at 1650 Huron Street. Residents wishing to donate to Toys for Tots can drop off new and unwrapped toys in the donation box during business hours Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Any toys collected during the toy drive will go directly to children facing challenging circumstances here in the East Tennessee region.
As always, we are grateful to any members of the Knoxville community who contribute to this cause and bring some holiday cheer to children in need.
