The Knoxville Police Department has joined the nationwide OffenderWatch sex offender registry network.

OffenderWatch allows KPD to collaborate with local law enforcement agencies across the country by sharing information about registered sex offenders. Residents can also search for registered sex offenders within the City of Knoxville through the KPD website and sign up for email alerts to be notified when an offender moves into their area.

OffenderWatch is the nation’s leading sex offender registry solution and is used by more than 3,500 local and state law enforcement agencies in 33 states to track registered offenders across jurisdictions.
