Devon Little, 28, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and reckless endangerment following a shooting near Jourolman Avenue and Alliance Drive.

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1600 block of Jourolman Avenue near Alliance Drive. Officers found a 29-year-old man who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Investigators quickly identified Little as a suspect and obtained a search warrant for a home on Alliance Drive.
The Special Operations Squad served the warrant with assistance from the Community Engagement Response Team and Violent Crimes Unit detectives. Officers located Little inside the home and took him into custody.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by KPD Violent Crimes Detectives.
